The staff of RUF at Mercer University is made up of a campus minister, a staff member, and an intern who has been trained in campus ministry.
RUF is a ministry of the church because our campus minister is an ordained minister of the gospel and a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The campus minister serves as a missionary to Mercer, seeking to reach and equip students for Christ, develop a fellowship group on campus, help students get involved in local churches, and to develop mature Christian men and women through God's Word.
The desire of our staff is to minister to and pastor Mercer students. We are your servants on campus.
Please feel free to contact our staff via Facebook, email or phone anytime.
Marlin Harris began working for RUF at Mercer University in 2018. He grew up on the mission field in Asuncion, Paraguay before moving with his family to Marbury, Alabama in 1999. He attended Mercer University from 2007-2011 where he met his lovely wife, Caroline, who he married in May 2011. From 2012-2015 he worked with RUF as an intern at Emory University in Atlanta while Caroline completed Mercer’s Physician Assistant program. In 2015, Marlin and Caroline moved to Charlotte where he attended Reformed Theological Seminary. They are overjoyed to be back in Macon and serving Christ at their alma mater! You can email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
